Havasupai - July 2008
After an early morning flight out of Boston to Las Vegas I skiped out on the rest of my flight and jumped in with Andy, Jonny Schellenberg and Josh Schellenberg and headed out to Arizona. The landscape between New England and Arizona provided quite the contrast.
On the way we experienced a hail storm with the largest stones I have ever seen.
At the Halapi Hilltop we found a spot on the cliff furthest from the mules to set out our bags. We only slept until 3am and were on the trail by 3:30 to get down to the village to check in by 8:00 am (which we ended up making by 6).

Havasupai was amazingly beautiful. The water looked almost fake because it was so blue and so clear.

We spent the days playing hard and wearing ourselves out jumping, climbing, hiking and swimming the three main falls: Havasu, Navajo and Mooney, as well as exploring the beauty and natural shower of Gregs Canyon and the old mine in Havasu canyon.
